  • Easter Fire Watchers

The Catholic Church uses many beautiful symbols to communicate meaning within our faith journey. Fire is one of the most frequently used symbols with a number of different meanings; the Holy Spirit, purification, or the Light of Christ who brings us out of the darkness with His resurrection. Each year, we light our Easter fire at the conclusion of our Holy Thursday service and keep it burning until the start of the Easter Vigil. If you would like to volunteer to help keep the fire burning, you may review the available slots and sign up. We pray that the shared experience keeps the light of Christ burning within you.

  • Brothers Walking With Christ (Initial Meeting)

Men of all ages have both a need and a desire to discover and embrace God in their everyday lives. Not as some thin veneer of piety set apart from our struggles and triumphs, but as a deep awareness of Jesus walking with us in every corner of our lives. To meet the hunger men have for a honest, whole, and holy (not perfect – that’s some-thing else) life, St. Matthew’s Church and Christ the King Church invite you to journey together. Men of any age in both parishes are invited to join with Fr. Rick and each other. You may come to either parish for the initial meeting.

Initial Meeting at Christ the King:

April 21, 6:30 pm in the Rectory

    Initial Meeting at St. Matthew’s:

    April 23, 6:30 pm in Room 5

  • Come As You Are

April 23 from 6-7:30 pm in the Knights Room we will discuss how the Catholic Church in Germany is on the cutting edge in LGBTQ+ inclusion as well as the Beatitudes, Matthew 5: 1-12 from an LGBTQ+ perspective. Those with questions may contact Tim and Tony ComeasyouareCTK@gmail.com.

  • Red Cross Blood Drive
